Description:
The Van Mahotsav activities were conducted from the 1st of July to the 8th of July.
On the 1 st of July a Special Assembly was conducted by the Ecology Club members.
Classes 9 and 10 made paper bags which will be distributed among the vendors to
spread awareness against the use of plastic bags.
On the 2nd of July classes 7A and 7B made bookmarks out of dry leaves and flowers.
The children made beautiful bookmarks which will be used as gifts for guests and
resource persons.
On the 3 rd of July classes 8A and 8B prepared jingles based on the theme “Each one,
plant one.” The girls prepared thought provoking lyrics along with catchy tunes for the
jingles.
On the 4 th of July, students of classes 6A and 6B prepared a street play on the topic, “A
world without trees.” Girls prepared wonderful skits which were presented to the class.
The best skit from each class was shown to the Middle and Senior Section students on
the 6 th and 8 th of July.
