Description:
On 13th of March, girls from classes 6 to 8 participated in an activity called Wealth from Waste on the 13th of March on the school terrace. Each house from each section had one participant dressed as a model and 3 girls helped as designers in dressing up the model. As the model walked up to the judges a girl from her house announced the theme depicted and the materials used in dressing the model. There were 24 models in all , 6 from each house. Mrs P. Neogi and Ms A. R. Gomes were the judges for the event. The girls used old newspaper, straws, bottle caps, old CDs, fairy lights,jute, aluminium foils etc for dressing the models very creatively .It was a very enjoyable and learning activity.
