Description:
On the 14th of February, 2025, the students of Loreto Day School Dharamtala celebrated the One Billion Rising with a lot of fervour and gusto. The day started with an assembly based on this year’s theme, “Rise for Freedom” and “Fight against Fascism”. Children discussed various ways through which they can nip the buds of fascist thoughts and actions at their level and work together as a community hand in hand to create a better tomorrow.
This was followed by a flash mob on the song “break the chain”. It was a fun-filled and enlightening experience for the girls who sore to uphold the Loreto values and stand against oppression and injustice.
