“If music be the food of love, play on.”

On Children’s Day, Loreto Day School, Dharamtala throbbed with laughter, happiness and music as the teachers put together a special programme, packed with surprises. The morning began with a prayer service, followed by a couple of songs, a dance and a skit that highlighted the fact that no matter how old we grow, we will always remain children at heart.

The next part of the programme raised the excitement level to a new pitch as Christopher Lobo, a well-known singer based in Kolkata, took over. His songs kept the children and the teachers, on their feet, dancing to every beat. He pelted out one popular number after another and had the children enthralled.. After the performance, the children went back to their classrooms and had class parties. They were also provided a packet of snacks. The day was packed with moments that created memories for a lifetime.
