The Last Banyan Tree (Kolkata International Children's Film Festival 2023 second runner up)

On 28th January, 2024, our team The Six Elements participated in the 11th Kolkata International Children’s Film Festival’s Indie-Filmmaking competition and secured Third Place with our original storybook-style animation “The Last Banyan Tree,” now available on YouTube. The festival brought together young creators from various schools, and our team, which consisted of Tamoghna Mazumder, Krittika Dawn, Aditri Saha, Aaditri Saha, Trisha Mondal, and Aishani Das, was honoured at Nandan by renowned Bengali author Avik Sarkar. Each of us contributed to scripting, storyboarding, animation, voice-over, music, or editing, and by achieving third place, we strengthened our school’s reputation for creativity and excellence in the arts.
