Bricking the Future (Digital Earth Reel 2024 winner for Junior category)

The result of the prestigious Digital Earth Reel film-making competition was announced on the 15th of December, and Aishani Das, Trisha Mondal, Sridatri Lal and Rajannya Roy proudly secured the First prize with our short-film titled “Bricking the Future”, which is now available on YouTube. The competition aimed to encourage the youth to explore environmental themes with digital storytelling, and our team of four worked with dedication to bring something unique to life. 

“Bricking the Future” focused on sustainable construction using Eco-Bricks. The film used Stop-Motion to capture its message and teach viewers how to make an eco-brick of their own. The announcement was made on Facebook on the 15th of December on the official The Earth Day Network page. The achievement has not only brought honor to our school but has also strengthened our confidence in the power of youth-led environmental initiatives.
